2. It's York Challenge Week

Sports are an important part of university life for many, providing a strong community and having a positive impact on physical and mental wellbeing. However, with growing costs, clubs are in need of additional ways to raise money. Support sport during York Challenge Week as students from the sports clubs taking part take on various challenges! Donate or become an ambassador to spread the word.

3. NEW: Get confident with academic speaking

Want to rehearse a presentation or pitch, discuss speaking-related concerns or get voice tips, feedback and advice? The Academic and Digital Skills (A&DS) team are trialling academic speaking appointments in Semester 2. Book an academic speaking appointment for yourself or a small group, either online or in person (you’ll need to log in to Target Connect).

If appointments are fully booked, come along to our Confidence to Speak and Listen workshops on Wednesday.
