Our second PGT Dissertation Writing workshop on Thursday (20 March) focuses on methods and results. Explore the purpose of methodology and results sections, examine how they can be structured and the sort of information they typically contain. Hear tips on the most popular software to help you analyse and present your data and focus on the skills and language needed to write these sections of a dissertation.

2. Celebrating neurodiversity

This week, we’re proud to support Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2025 and champion inclusive practice, share lived experiences, and celebrate the strengths that diverse minds bring to our university. Events include zine workshops, movie night, quiz night, plus discussions on understanding neurodiversity and ‘What makes a Neurodivergent-friendly campus’. Come to this week’s York SU Community Conference for a stimulating programme of sessions that will challenge your thinking and expand your horizon. With sessions on topics such as climate justice, combatting Imposter Syndrome, EDI and accessibility, as well as student-led initiatives, come network with other students and immerse yourself in sessions outside of your degree area.
